About the Social Media Manager Position
The Social Media Manager position is a great opportunity for a previous staff member or head counselor. The Social Media Manager reports directly to the Board and camp Director. On a daily basis, the Social Media Manager is responsible for capturing and uploading pictures of campers during the different activities and managing the Instagram account (posts, stories, etc). Additionally, the Social Media Manager is responsible for setting up live streams for certain evening activities and assisting the staff in creating an end of camp video. Outside of those main activities, the Social Media Manager is expected to help volunteers during down time and assist with serving food during meals if needed.
