HINDU HERITAGE SUMMER CAMP

Giri has been coming to camp since 2016 as a camper, counselor, and head counselor. He is from Connecticut and is currently in his second year at Cornell University. Giri is grateful for the cultural experiences and friendships he has found at camp. He has enjoyed the sense of belonging and positivity that camp has given him each year. As Director, he is excited to provide campers with the same joy for HHSC that has had such a positive impact on his life. He is looking forward to another amazing year of camp!

Keya has been coming to camp since 2020 and has been a camper, counselor, and head counselor. She is beyond thrilled to be one of the assistant directors this summer! She is currently a freshman at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign studying Interdisciplinary Health Sciences on a pre-dental route. For Keya, camp has taught important cultural and philosophical messages that has helped her in numerous aspects of her life as well as fostered lifelong friendships. Camp has been the highlight of her summers and she hopes to make camp an amazing experience for all this year!

Manisha has been coming to camp since 2015 in various roles such as camper, counselor, head counselor, and is beyond excited to return as assistant director this year! Camp has been a second home to her and has taught her many lifelong lessons as well as brought memorable friendships. She could not imagine life without camp and is thrilled to make on impact on generations to come. Manisha is a senior at Centenary College of Louisiana majoring in biology and business administration and will be attending Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas pursuing a Master of Science in Management. As assistant director, she is ready for a year you don't want to miss!

Ethan is thrilled to serve as Director this year! This coming summer will be his eleventh year of camp, and he has been a camper, counselor, and head counselor. Ethan is from York, PA, and is a freshman studying aeronautical science at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Arizona. For Ethan camp has been a second home that has fostered cultural and philosophical appreciation along with unforgettable friendships. Ethan cannot wait to help make this year special.

Returning for her 7th year at camp, Sadhana is incredibly excited and grateful to serve as an Assistant Director this year. After loving the community she found as a camper she returned as a counselor, head counselor, and staff coordinator and feels so lucky to be returning for another year. Sadhana is from Kensington, Maryland and just finished her freshman year at Occidental College in Los Angeles. There truly is no place like camp and Sadhana cannot wait to make this year a great one!

Rishabh is thrilled to return to camp as an Assistant Director for Session 2! After making a big impact during Session 1 with his energy, leadership, and dedication to creating meaningful experiences, he’s back and ready to take things to the next level. Known for his creative problem-solving and knack for building connections, Rishabh is excited to help the team deliver an unforgettable session. When he’s not at camp, Rishabh loves exploring new music, sharing stories, and diving into new adventures. Get ready for his enthusiasm to light up the camp once again!
